FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:

McAllister & Quinn’s partnership will strengthen advocacy for the aerial firefighting industry and its critical role in protecting communities from wildfires.

Washington, DC – September 8, 2026: McAllister & Quinn is proud to expand its partnership with the United Aerial Firefighters Association (UAFA), an organization representing the aerial firefighting industry and the operators on the front lines of wildfire response.

Effective September 1, McAllister & Quinn assumed responsibility for UAFA’s federal legislative advocacy efforts and will begin providing association management services on January 1, 2027.

UAFA has grown from 41 founding members to 165 members across five continents. As wildfires continue to threaten communities, homes, businesses, and natural resources, UAFA works to ensure the aerial firefighting industry has a strong, unified voice with policymakers and government agencies.

“We are proud to support UAFA and the critical work its members do to protect communities across the country,” said Andy Quinn, Managing Partner at McAllister & Quinn. “This partnership reflects McAllister & Quinn’s commitment to helping mission-driven organizations strengthen their impact and advance policies that serve the public good.”

“Erica brings exactly the combination of healthcare expertise, Washington experience, and strong relationships that we need as we continue to grow our Healthcare practice,” said Andy Quinn, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of McAllister & Quinn. “She understands the challenges facing academic medicine, healthcare institutions, and the medical research community, and she knows how to translate their priorities into effective federal funding and advocacy strategies. Her experience and network will significantly expand our capabilities and create new opportunities for both our current and future clients.”

Prior to her most recent role at AAMC, Erica managed the biomedical and health research policy practice at Lewis-Burke Associates, LLC. There, she led the Washington Office of the Association of Independent Research Institutes and represented university, scientific, and association clients before Congress and federal agencies. Her work provided her with significant experience navigating the federal research and funding landscape and advancing the priorities of institutions and organizations engaged in biomedical and health research.

Through this partnership, McAllister & Quinn will help UAFA strengthen its federal engagement, advance industry priorities, and continue building an organization equipped to serve its growing membership.
