Healthcare and medical research advocacy leader brings more than two decades of experience to strengthen McAllister & Quinn’s Healthcare practice.

Washington, DC – September 8, 2026: McAllister & Quinn, DC’s leading federal grants and government relations consulting firm, is pleased to announce that Erica Froyd has joined the firm as Vice President of Healthcare. In this role, Erica will help lead the continued growth of McAllister & Quinn’s Healthcare practice, drawing on more than two decades of experience in healthcare, academic medicine, and medical research advocacy to strengthen the firm’s federal funding and government relations for hospital, academic health system, and medical school clients.

Most recently, Erica served as Senior Director of Advocacy and Engagement at the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), where she developed and oversaw initiatives to strengthen advocacy on behalf of the academic medicine community. Her work included engaging institutional leadership to cultivate congressional champions, overseeing the launch of a new state advocacy function, driving public affairs and grassroots campaigns, and leading the group of federal government relations professionals at AAMC member medical schools and academic health systems. Through this work, she developed deep connections across the academic medicine community and extensive experience engaging stakeholders on the federal policies and funding priorities affecting medical schools, teaching hospitals, health systems, and research institutions.

“Erica brings exactly the combination of healthcare expertise, Washington experience, and strong relationships that we need as we continue to grow our Healthcare practice,” said Andy Quinn, Co-Founder and Managing Partner of McAllister & Quinn. “She understands the challenges facing academic medicine, healthcare institutions, and the medical research community, and she knows how to translate their priorities into effective federal funding and advocacy strategies. Her experience and network will significantly expand our capabilities and create new opportunities for both our current and future clients.”
