Higher Education

McAllister & Quinn helps colleges and universities secure extramural funding.

Our Higher Education Practice offers a range of consulting services, including grant-seeking strategies, faculty training, and proposal development. These efforts develop and focus our clients’ strategic funding efforts to achieve results that ensure a robust return on investment. Results include funding for scholarships, academic programs, student support programs, and both basic and applied research. We work with institutions of all sizes and support structures.

Who We Serve

These universities are typically R1 or R2 institutions and have made significant investments in growing their sponsored research enterprises. These public and private universities pursue research initiatives that advance their institutional priorities, often by pursuing strategic sponsor and congressional engagement agendas; diverse partnerships; and large and complex grant opportunities.

These universities offer a range of baccalaureate and masters’ degrees and are simultaneously focused on increasing research expenditures and securing funding to advance strategic priorities. McAllister & Quinn supports these institutions in pursuing grants related to scholarships and academic programming and provides research development support to investigators engaged in basic and applied research.

These institutions are typically private and public institutions with enrollments ranging from 1,000 – 10,000 students. Most blend the tenets of a liberal arts education with professional programs in areas such as allied health, nursing, engineering and education.
