Rebecca Dedert is a Senior Research Analyst for the Nonprofit Practice, where she works with directors and managing directors to identify grant opportunities that align with clients’ needs. She also assists in researching, developing, planning, and executing grant-seeking strategies for clients.
Before joining McAllister & Quinn, Dedert worked as a policy analyst in the Research to Action Lab of the Urban Institute. In this role, she provided technical assistance and policy research to promote inclusion and racial equity. She focused on boosting upward mobility from poverty and fostering shared prosperity by applying research evidence to public policy and practice. Her work examines the policy domains of affordable housing, transit-oriented development, and wealth building.
