What We Can Expect in 2026 Federal Healthcare Funding
A year into the second Trump administration, we expect less uncertainty in federal grant funding than we experienced in 2025. Federal funding agency priorities have been set, prior administration priorities that no longer align have already been cast aside, and we anticipate a greater volume of funding opportunities for hospitals and health systems to be released, as well as increased continuity and certainty of funding as Congress rejects proposed administration budget cuts for medical research and healthcare. Bill language is much more prescriptive for this fiscal year, and we are looking forward to assisting our clients with the funding opportunities that have been forecasted to be released.
