McAllister & Quinn is excited to announce that Emily Wolf has been promoted to Vice President in the Higher Education Practice.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – McAllister & Quinn is proud to announce the promotion of Jessica Schor to Vice President within the firm’s Higher Education Practice. Since joining the firm in 2018, Schor has demonstrated exceptional leadership, grant expertise, and a deep understanding of the higher education landscape. These qualities and many others have made her a trusted advisor to colleges and universities across the country.

With more than 15 years of experience in fundraising, grant writing, and grants management, Schor has helped clients secure over $80 million in external funding for a wide range of initiatives, including scholarships, academic programs, faculty research, and student support services. Her strategic counsel and hands-on approach have consistently advanced the missions of McAllister & Quinn’s higher education clients.

Jess is a remarkable leader and colleague whose intellect, creativity, and institutional knowledge have made a lasting impact on our clients and our team,” said Jessica C. Gerrity, Ph.D., Senior Vice President and Leader of the Higher Education Practice. “She has helped shape the foundation of our client service model and continues to push our practice forward through thoughtful innovation. I am thrilled to welcome her into this new leadership role.

Before joining McAllister & Quinn, Schor held key positions at The George Washington University, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the National Building Museum. She brings to her work a deep understanding of both public and private funding ecosystems and a sharp ability to align institutional strengths with funder priorities. Her academic background in Art History and her experience in university advancement and cultural institutions give her a unique perspective on grant strategy and storytelling.

In her new role, Schor will oversee a portfolio of higher education clients and client handlers, help lead new business development efforts, and continue to serve as a core member of the Higher Education Practice’s leadership team.

Jess embodies the best of McAllister & Quinn: she is client-centered, collaborative, and committed to excellence,” said John McAllister, Managing Partner and Founder of McAllister & Quinn. “Her strategic insight and proven results have elevated our work in higher education. We’re excited to see the continued impact she’ll make in this next chapter.

Schor, who recently returned to the firm’s Washington, D.C. office after two years in North Carolina, has also served as a Client Management Team Leader and spearheaded the overhaul of the firm’s Higher Education grant resources and tools.
