McAllister & Quinn Promotes Dr. Sally A. White to Senior Vice President and Advisor on Firm-wide Strategic Initiatives

McAllister & Quinn is excited to announce that Dr. Jessica C. Gerrity has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Leader of the Higher Education Practice. In this capacity, Dr. Gerrity will have the primary responsibility of managing the Higher Education Practice and will work closely with McAllister & Quinn’s managing partners to develop and execute a strategic plan to manage the practice’s growth in clients and staff. Jessica will serve as the primary point of contact for the practice, working in close collaboration with the Higher Education Practice vice presidents and other Higher Education Practice team leaders. Dr. Gerrity served as Managing Director and then Vice President for the firm prior to her promotion to Senior Vice President.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – McAllister & Quinn is excited to announce that Dr. Sally A. White has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Advisor on Firm-wide Strategic Initiatives. In this capacity, Dr. White will focus some of her efforts on key initiatives that will help McAllister & Quinn continue to grow and develop in a strategic way. Dr. White will work with the managing partners and the operations and human resources team on critical projects related to diversity, equity, and inclusion, performance metrics, strategic planning, and professional development and mentoring. In addition, she manages a large portfolio of clients ranging from small and midsized public to private colleges and universities.

Based in Washington, D.C. with 45+ full-time employees, McAllister & Quinn is a comprehensive grants consulting firm that provides a full range of services to a diverse group of clients. The firm offers federal grant and faculty development consulting to small and mid-sized colleges to help institutions sharpen their strategic focus and increase and diversify external funding. Over the past decade, McAllister & Quinn has secured hundreds of millions of dollars in competitive federal grant funding for scholarships and student support, academic programs, research, and equipment.

Dr. White has been with McAllister & Quinn since 2008 and has 21 years of experience in higher education as both a professor and academic administrator. She served as Vice President for Academic Affairs at the College of Notre Dame, where she initiated a number of significant developments, including the integration of a separate School of Pharmacy and Education, the successful pre-candidacy status for the School of Pharmacy from ACPE, and the revamp of the governance structure of the College. While Dean at Lehigh University, Dr. White led the expansion of graduate programs into the Middle East, Asia and Europe and created a unit-based decision-making approach to leadership that was tied to strategic planning and outcomes assessment.

Dr. White formerly served as Dean of the Graduate School and Associate Vice President for Research at Towson University, where records were set for research expenditure and she developed a more research-oriented faculty culture. She was a Tenured Professor at Illinois State University and began her career as an Assistant Professor at the University of New Hampshire in 1988. ##END
