(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – McAllister & Quinn is excited to announce that Dr. Jessica C. Gerrity has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Leader of the Higher Education Practice. In this capacity, Dr. Gerrity will have the primary responsibility of managing the Higher Education Practice and will work closely with McAllister & Quinn’s managing partners to develop and execute a strategic plan to manage the practice’s growth in clients and staff. Jessica will serve as the primary point of contact for the practice, working in close collaboration with the Higher Education Practice vice presidents and other Higher Education Practice team leaders. Dr. Gerrity served as Managing Director and then Vice President for the firm prior to her promotion to Senior Vice President.

Dr. Gerrity brings to her role 20 years of experience. Before joining McAllister & Quinn, Dr. Gerrity managed research and policy analysis at the Congressional Research Service at the Library of Congress. Prior to her work at CRS, she taught political science at Washington College and served as an American Political Science Association Congressional Fellow in the office of Senator Jack Reed, specializing in healthcare policy. Dr. Gerrity teaches courses on public policy and American politics in Indiana University’s, Washington, DC, Internship Program as well as for Boston University’s DC programs. She holds a Ph.D. in political science from Indiana University, an M.A. in sociology from George Mason University, and a B.A. in political science from the University of Rochester, where she graduated cum laude ##END
