Zoe Bock

Director of Grants and Federal Affairs

Zoe Bock is a Director of Grants and Federal Affairs in the Higher Education Practice at McAllister & Quinn. In her role, Zoe collaborates with clients to identify external funding opportunities, develop funding and capacity-building strategies, and secure federal, foundation, and state funding aligned with institutional priorities. Zoe has supported projects focused on initiatives such as scholarships and student support, research enhancement, and academic program expansion. Zoe has worked with clients to successfully develop and submit proposals to an array of funders, including the National Science Foundation, the Department of Justice, and the Department of Education. Drawing on her experience as both a Research Analyst and a Senior Research Analyst at McAllister & Quinn, Zoe brings a keen understanding of the funding landscape, opportunities, and trends for institutions of higher education.

Prior to joining McAllister & Quinn, Zoe interned with the Smithsonian Institution in partnership with Emerson Collective and with Active Minds, a national mental health advocacy nonprofit. While studying at Davidson College, Zoe worked as a Senior Admission Fellow in the Office of Admission and Financial Aid. Zoe graduated from Davidson College with a B.A. in Sociology and a minor in Hispanic Studies. Zoe co-leads McAllister & Quinn’s volunteer efforts with Community of Hope, a local nonprofit.
