Sophia Vomvoris serves as a Research Analyst for the firm’s Nonprofit & Public Agencies Practice. In this role, she provides research and analytical support for funding opportunities that directly align with the clients’ goals, along with memo generation, opportunity tracking, business development, varying project and legislative assistance, and internal data management.

Prior to joining McAllister and Quinn, Sophia interned with the House of Representatives for the Office of Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) and the District Office of Congressman Colin Allred (TX-32). There, her primary responsibilities consisted of assisting in researching various legislative projects, managing constituent outreach services regarding various issues before the House, and drafting press releases and miscellaneous communications work. During her undergraduate tenure, Sophia was involved in several student campus and community organizations such as the North Texas Green Brigade Marching Band, Student Government Association, a mentor and intern through the North Texas D.C. program, and the North Texas 40 Foundation.

Sophia is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a B.A. in Political Science, a minor in Public Administration, and a Legal Studies certification.
