Matt Lamy serves as a Research Analyst of Federal Affairs at McAllister & Quinn, where he supports the firm’s healthcare, higher education, associations, and advanced technology practices. In addition, he conducts substantive research and analysis on legislative and policy matters, develops written materials, monitors congressional and administration policy, tracks and evaluates relevant legislative and appropriations actions, and utilizes that information to help enhance government relations and grant-seeking efforts on behalf of clients. He also executes clients’ Capitol Hill advocacy activities and political fundraising activities.
Prior to joining McAllister & Quinn, Matt interned at the Household and Commercial Products Association, where he worked on issues affecting the household cleaner chemical industry. Matt also interned at APCO, a strategic advisory and public affairs firm.
Matt is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he received his B.A. in Political Science.
