Madeline McQuillan is a Senior Research Analyst in the Research Universities Practice at McAllister & Quinn. In this role, Madeline supports operations across the Research Universities client portfolio, helping to strategically identify suitable federal and foundation opportunities for clients to pursue. She monitors and synthesizes developments across the federal agencies for the weekly policy newsletter; develops tailored funding newsletters to align with client research priorities; supports the development of the firm’s strategic intelligence such as federal program guides and legislative analysis memos; and addresses client’s strategic intelligence requests on funding opportunities and congressional activity. Madeline also conducts qualitative peer analysis for capacity benchmarking engagements and identifies subject-matter consultants to advise principal investigators on proposal strategy and targeted proposal reviews.
Prior to joining McAllister & Quinn, Madeline spent two years in France and became fluent in the language. She interned at CIRED, an environmental research institute, and at a town hall outside of Paris. At William & Mary, Madeline worked as a Research Assistant in the Global Research Institute and organized cultural activities in the French Language House for three years. After graduating from William & Mary with a degree in Government and French, Madeline pursued a master’s at the London School of Economics to develop a deeper understanding of transatlantic relations, the European Union, and international policymaking. She also spent three years as an analyst and writer at Foreign Brief, producing weekly articles on geopolitical developments.
