Kai serves as a Business Development Analyst for McAllister & Quinn’s Higher Education Practice. Kai assists the higher education practice and leadership with research, marketing efforts, and event preparation. He ensures leadership are working with accurate and up to date information and data on the higher education industry, maintains the practice’s contacts database, produces the monthly D.C. Insider newsletter, and hosts McAllister & Quinn’s annual Government Relations Workshop.

He is a graduate from the University of Maryland, College Park and graduated with a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, minored in Science and Technology Studies, and was a member of the Global Fellows Program in the U.S. Diplomacy Concentration. He was the first student from UMD to intern for the Central Japan Railway Company in Tokyo and Northeast Maglev in Baltimore, where he became familiar with growing efforts to bring Japanese high-speed rail to the United States. He has previously lived in Japan, Boston, Philly, and Baltimore. He currently lives in the DMV and likes cooking, traveling, and photography.
