Emily Wolf is a Vice President in the Higher Education Practice at McAllister & Quinn. Emily is responsible for managing client relations at the executive level for a portfolio of institutions. Emily’s more than a decade experience consulting for institutions of higher education informs an in-depth understanding of the campus culture that has resulted in significant funding for strategic initiatives.
In Emily’s previous role as a Managing Director, she strategically worked with higher education clients to identify, apply for, and secure millions of dollars in Federal and foundation grant funding for a wide range of projects, including student scholarships, faculty-led research, retention efforts, and curriculum development. Emily worked collaboratively with clients from the first stages of the conceptual development through grant submission, managing the entire grant process. She also developed and implemented professional development training to increase faculty engagement. This work fostered Emily’s expertise across federal agencies, including the National Science Foundation and the Department of Education, and resulted in securing tens of millions of dollars in collaboration with her small and mid-sized higher education clients.
Emily also served in the capacity of Team Leader for Higher Education Business Development. In this role, she helped manage business development efforts for the Higher Education Practice, assisting with the development of marketing materials, strategic communications, and fostering strategic partnerships.
Prior to serving as a Managing Director, Emily was a Director, and before that, a Federal Grant and Foundation Research Analyst for the Higher Education Practice. Initially, Emily joined McAllister & Quinn as a Higher Education Research Fellow.
Emily graduated with a bachelor of science from the University of Maryland’s College of Education in College Park, MD. She is a native of the Washington Metropolitan Area and currently resides in Annapolis, MD with her husband.
