Chris Soldan is a Research Analyst in McAllister & Quinn’s Research Universities Practice. Chris supports the RUP Core team in developing the firm’s strategic intelligence through daily monitoring of R&D funding opportunities, writing in-depth reports on Federal grant programs and involved actors, and assisting in DC legislative and budget analysis.

Prior to joining McAllister & Quinn, Chris served as a clerk for the Virginia House of Delegates Appropriations Committee, providing support to the chair and members of the council while also developing skills in legislative and budget analysis. Before this he worked as a Public Affairs Intern for SKDK, where he wrote and edited daily communication and strategy memos that addressed a wide range of policy issues, including higher education, tech regulation, and DEI.
