Brittany Causey, Ph.D., serves as a Managing Director of Grants and Federal Affairs for the firm’s Higher Education Practice. She brings a professional background of higher education grant experience. She works with college and university clients to strategically identify and plan for Federal and foundation grant opportunities that align with their priorities and goals. During her tenure at McAllister & Quinn, Brittany has developed expertise across agencies, including the National Science Foundation, the Department of Justice, and the Department of Education.

Before joining McAllister & Quinn, Brittany was the senior director of corporate and foundation relations at the University of North Texas (UNT). As senior director, she oversaw the university’s foundation grant strategy and worked with faculty on numerous significant foundation awards. Before UNT, Brittany was responsible for all grant-seeking efforts as the director of corporate, foundation, and government relations at Austin College, a small private college north of Dallas, Texas. During her time there, Austin College was a client of McAllister & Quinn and was awarded its first federal grants in over a decade. She also designed and implemented grant management policies and procedures to support proposal and award management.

She lives near Dallas, Texas, with her partner and two dogs.
