Dr. BreeAnn Brandhagen is a Managing Director in the Research Universities Practice. In this role, she provides strategic guidance and grant consulting support to research universities. Her focus is delivering high-quality, innovative services to university leadership, faculty, and research development professionals in strategic intelligence, capacity building, and proposal development.
Prior to joining McAllister & Quinn, BreeAnn served as the Senior Research Development Associate within Colorado State University’s Office of the Vice President for Research. While there she was responsible for the implementation, management, and assessment of several strategic initiatives of the office including federal affairs, agricultural biosecurity, and cyberbiosecurity, Additionally, she provided leadership and guidance to interdisciplinary research teams through complex and strategic proposal development, resulting in critical extramural research funding to the university. She also developed and led training and professional development for early career faculty and research project/program managers across campus.
BreeAnn earned a Ph.D. from the University of South Dakota and a B.A. from Northwestern College. Additionally, she has completed graduate certificates in Project Management and Business Management from Colorado State University. She is also an active member of the National Organization of Research Development Professionals (NORDP).
