AJ Jensen is a Vice President in McAllister & Quinn’s Higher Education Practice. AJ oversees client relations for a growing portfolio of higher education clients and internal staff management. She also provides leadership on strategic initiatives for the Higher Education Practice, including the development and launch of a new service line at McAllister & Quinn.

AJ has been with the firm since 2015 and served as a Director, Managing Director, and Strategic Initiatives Team Leader. She has worked with clients across the country to identify, pursue, and secure external funding to support institutional growth. AJ has helped her clients secure over $20M dollars from federal and local agencies and private foundations for a range of scholarship, research, and mental health projects.

AJ has a background in public affairs and grant writing. Before joining McAllister & Quinn, she worked at Cooper’s Ferry Partnership (CFP), an economic development organization in Camden, New Jersey. During her tenure, AJ designed, co-wrote, and managed over $2M in federal, foundation and state grant projects.

AJ received her Masters in Business Administration from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from St. Lawrence University in upstate New York. She is a NJ native and currently resides in Washington, DC.
