McAllister & Quinn is excited to announce that Amanda Parsons, M.P.P., P.M.P. has been promoted to Chief of Staff of the Higher Education Practice.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – McAllister & Quinn is excited to announce that Amanda Parsons, M.P.P., P.M.P. has been promoted to Chief of Staff of the Higher Education Practice. In this capacity, Amanda will have the primary responsibility of managing the internal operations of the Higher Education Practice and will work closely with McAllister & Quinn’s Vice Presidents and Managing Partners to oversee the practice’s tremendous growth. Amanda served as Director and then Managing Director of Grants and Federal Affairs for the firm prior to her promotion to Chief of Staff of the Higher Education Practice.

She has been central to the development of the Practice, and a consistently positive contributor,” says John McAllister, who founded the firm in 2004 with Andy Quinn. “We are thrilled that Amanda has agreed to serve in this new role and we believe this development will help the Higher Education Practice continue to thrive and grow smartly.”

Amanda brings to her role almost two decades of experience within McAllister & Quinn’s Higher Education Practice. Prior to her work at McAllister & Quinn, Amanda served on the Global Development Policy and Advocacy team at Save the Children International. Earlier in her career, she worked as a congressional aide for Congressman John McHugh (R-NY) and as committee staff for the House Science Committee. Amanda holds a M.P.P. from Georgetown University, a B.A. from Ithaca College, and is a certified Project Management Professional (P.M.P.).
