Prepare Now for this Upcoming California State Funding Opportunity
The California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development recently forecasted the release of the California Community Reinvestment Grants (CalCRG) Program.
This funding opportunity for community-based nonprofit organizations and local health departments in California provides funding to organizations working to address the impacts of past federal and state drug policies, otherwise known as the War on Drugs (WoD).
If your nonprofit’s mission and programming align with advancing health, wellness, and/or economic justice, consider applying for this state-funded grant program.

- Formerly incarcerated individuals and others facing barriers to reentry.
- Census tracts and counties with high rates of drug-related arrests, unemployment, poverty, or low educational attainment.
