Getting Started with HRSA

The Health Resources and Service Administration (HRSA) is a federal agency under the Department of Health and Human Services. HRSA has four main goals:

  1. Improve access to quality health services,
  2. foster a healthcare workforce that is able to address current and emerging needs,
  3. achieve health equity and enhance population health and
  4. to optimize HRSA operations and program management.

In FY19 HRSA had a budget of nearly $12 billion, most which went out through grants and cooperative agreements. In this webinar, McAllister & Quinn provides overview information on HRSA, common proposal elements of a HRSA grant, a few upcoming HRSA grant opportunities and how your organization can prepare for a HRSA grant opportunity you are interested in pursuing. Note this webinar was recorded in August of 2020.
