McAllister & Quinn worked for over a two-year period with a microelectronics-related academic-industrial consortium to support funding for the Obama Administration’s National Network for Manufacturing Innovation (NNMI) and the accompanying Revitalize American Manufacturing and Innovation (RAMI) legislation, now known as “Manufacturing USA.”
McAllister & Quinn launched an important advocacy campaign to support “Manufacturing USA” on behalf of our university and for-profit clients. President Obama visited two client site locations, one industry consortium member and one academic consortium member. McAllister & Quinn coordinated and facilitated more than 85 congressional meetings. We also led significant outreach to the House Manufacturing Caucus, resulting in several congressional testimony opportunities and Manufacturing Caucus briefing events with members of the consortium having speaking roles. As a result of these efforts, McAllister & Quinn secured bipartisan support for NNMI/RAMI in both the House of Representatives and the Senate.
