Mallory Findlay serves as a Director of Grants and Federal Affairs for the firm’s Higher Education Practice. She has a professional background in higher education and scholarships. Currently, she works with college and university clients to strategically identify and apply for Federal and foundation grant opportunities that align with their priorities and goals.

Before joining McAllister & Quinn, Mallory was an advisor at the Morehead-Cain Foundation in Chapel Hill, North Carolina where she administered experiential education grants and helped undergraduate scholarship students identify, apply for, and secure external funding opportunities. Prior to that, she was a teaching fellow and writing instructor in the UNC-Chapel Hill Department of English and Comparative Literature. She began her career teaching secondary English in Frederick, Maryland.

A Georgia native, Mallory completed a B.A. in English at Emory University. She holds a Masters in English from Georgetown University and is completing a Ph.D. in English at UNC. She lives in Washington, D.C.
