Mallory Findlay serves as a Director of Grants and Federal Affairs in the Higher Education Practice at McAllister & Quinn. Leveraging more than ten years of professional experience in higher education, she works closely with college and university clients to identify and apply for Federal and foundation grants that align with their priorities and goals. Since starting with the firm, Mallory has helped clients secure awards across a variety of funding agencies to support scholarships, academic programming, travel abroad, faculty research, and student services.

Before joining McAllister & Quinn, Mallory was an advisor at the Morehead-Cain Foundation in Chapel Hill, North Carolina where she administered experiential education grants and helped undergraduate scholarship students identify, apply for, and secure external funding opportunities. Prior to that, she was a teaching fellow and writing instructor in the UNC-Chapel Hill Department of English and Comparative Literature. She began her career teaching secondary English in Frederick, Maryland.

A Georgia native, Mallory completed a B.A. in English at Emory University. She holds an MA in English from Georgetown University and is completing a Ph.D. in English at UNC. She lives in Washington, D.C.
