With a keen ability to collaborate with teams, Korie O’Kelly serves as the firm’s Director of Grants and Federal Affairs for the firm’s Higher Education Practice. Currently, she works with colleges, universities, and tribal governments in researching, developing, planning, and executing highly effective grant-seeking strategies.
Throughout Korie’s career, she has successfully secured nearly $50 million in federal, foundation, and community project funding. Korie has a professional background in several federal agencies, notably the National Science Foundation (NSF), National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH), and Department of Education (ED). Prior to her tenure at McAllister & Quinn, Korie served as a grants officer in private donor services, collaborating closely with foundations, corporations, and individuals to achieve their grant-seeking objectives. Her adeptness in managing proposal writing teams ensures seamless project coordination, adherence to timelines, and the delivery of successful submissions from inception to completion.
Beyond her grant-seeking accomplishments, Korie plays a central role at McAllister & Quinn, overseeing the planning and execution of workshops and training webinars tailored to institutions’ faculty and staff. Korie has earned a B. S. in Political Science and Strategic Communications from High Point University.
