Kendrick Burns serves as Managing Director for McAllister & Quinn’s Advanced Technology practice. In this role Kendrick manages Advanced Technology clients’ complex, multi-disciplinary federal grant proposals to assist in securing federal funding. Kendrick brings a wealth of project and client management experience from his previous position at McAllister & Quinn.
Kendrick previously served as Director of Federal Affairs under Managing Partner Andy Quinn, where he supported a wide array of clients from the firm’s healthcare, higher education, associations, and advanced technology practices. In this role Kendrick assisted clients through the entire federal affairs process, conducting substantive research and analysis on legislative and policy matters, developing written materials, monitoring congressional and administration policy, and executing clients’ Capitol Hill activities. Kendrick specialized in the appropriations process and managed clients’ programmatic plus-ups and/or community-funded projects through the entire appropriations cycle. In his previous position, Kendrick assisted clients in securing over $300 million in the federal appropriations process.
Kendrick is a graduate of the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. He grew up in the Pacific Northwest and currently lives in Seattle, Washington.
