Jessica (Jess) Schor is a Vice President in the Higher Education Practice at McAllister & Quinn. Jess has been with the firm since 2018 and manages a diverse portfolio of small and mid-sized colleges and universities. She oversees a team that delivers strategic intelligence, grant writing and government relations support, and capacity-building services to clients.

She provides expert guidance to institutions on seeking and securing external funding to support their institutional and project-based needs. Since joining McAllister & Quinn, she has helped clients secure over $90M from private funders and federal agencies, including grants for scholarships, academic programs, faculty research, and student support services. Jess has 18 years of institutional fundraising, grant writing, and grant management experience, which she leverages to provide strategic guidance to institutions of higher education.

Before joining McAllister & Quinn, Jess served as Associate Director of Foundation Relations at The George Washington University. At GW, she partnered with academic leadership to develop comprehensive fundraising strategies for institutional priorities and assisted in identifying and pursuing grants for faculty scholarship. Previously, at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and the National Building Museum, Jess was responsible for foundation, state, and federal agency submissions. Her expertise includes a nuanced understanding of the goals of private and government funding sources and the ability to align institutional strengths with funding priorities.

Jess received a Master of Arts degree from American University and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Wheaton College in Massachusetts. She resides in Washington, DC.
