Dania Sohail is a Director of Federal Affairs at McAllister & Quinn. In this capacity, she delivers specialized federal relations and policy analysis support to clients within the firm’s Healthcare and Research Universities Practices. Dania spearheads the development and execution of comprehensive federal engagement strategies, empowering clients to effectively advocate for their priorities and foster meaningful relationships on Capitol Hill. Her multifaceted work includes conducting in-depth policy research, tracking critical legislative trends, advising leadership on the federal appropriations process, crafting compelling written communications, and coordinating meetings with Members of Congress and their staff. With extensive expertise in the National Opioid Settlements, Dania plays a pivotal role in assisting clients in obtaining funding to combat the opioid epidemic in their communities. Additionally, she leads McAllister & Quinn’s political fundraising initiatives, furthering the firm’s mission of advancing client objectives.


Prior to joining McAllister & Quinn, Dania spent time as a policy intern at Cassidy & Associates, providing legislative research in areas of energy, healthcare, and higher education. She has also served as an intern at the U.S. Department of State in the Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor, researching international human rights violations in accordance with foreign policy. Dania holds an interdisciplinary degree from American University in Communications, Legal Institutions, Economics, and Government.
