How $2,500 NAHB Grants Help HBAs Introduce Youth to Skilled Trades Through Hands-On Projects
You wouldn’t believe how much a Home Builders Association (HBA) can accomplish with a $2,500 grant!
These annual grants, awarded through the National Association of Home Builders’ (NAHB) National Housing Endowment, are provided to HBAs around the country to work with local Boys & Girls Clubs. The funded projects introduce young people to hands-on experiences in the skilled trades. We’re lucky enough to work with several of the awardees that make this possible.
These initiatives are hands-on experiences that connect students with industry mentors, tools, and real-world projects. From building picnic tables in Missouri to constructing sheds in Alabama, HBAs are using NAHB’s resources to create meaningful opportunities that spark interest in residential construction.
