Sophia Vomvoris joined McAllister & Quinn in 2022 and currently serves as a Senior Research Analyst for the firm’s Nonprofit & Public Agencies Practice. In this role, she contributes to the practice’s business development and government relations efforts, manages internal data, provides strategic analysis on policy and legislative developments related to funding opportunities that align with our client’s objectives, and tracks the federal budget, ensuring that key allocations and priorities are identified and leveraged for client success.

Prior to joining McAllister and Quinn, Sophia interned with the House of Representatives for the Office of Congressman Vicente Gonzalez and the District Office of Congressman Colin Allred. There, her primary responsibilities consisted of assisting in researching various legislative projects, managing constituent outreach services regarding various issues before the House, and drafting press releases and miscellaneous communications work. During her undergraduate tenure, Sophia was involved in several student campus and community organizations such as the North Texas Green Brigade Marching Band, Student Government Association, a mentor and intern through the North Texas D.C. program, and the North Texas 40 Foundation.

Sophia is a graduate of the University of North Texas with a B.A. in Political Science, a minor in Public Administration, and a Legal Studies certification. She is currently attending Texas A&M University School of Law for a Master of Legal Studies degree.
