Rachel DesFosses serves as a Senior Research Analyst for the Higher Education Practice. Rachel works with Directors and Managing Directors to support clients. She provides research and analytical support to identify federal and foundation opportunities for clients to pursue. Additionally, she tracks opportunities, monitors client successes, and provides support for the Higher Education Practice.
Rachel graduated from Juniata College with a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Writing with Marketing and a minor in Visual Arts. Prior to joining McAllister & Quinn, Rachel served as a student assistant in the grant department for her alma mater. In this role, she provided support for the development of grant proposals. She researched funding opportunities, assisted with drafting proposals, and analyzed data for attachments. She also interned in the marketing department at her alma mater. She was involved in content strategy development, content creation, and managing social media accounts.
