Kelly Webster serves as a Director for the firm’s Healthcare Practice. In this role, Kelly provides research development and analytical support for the healthcare practice. She works closely with Managing directors and the VP of Healthcare practice to ensure investigators and other organizational leaders to identify funding opportunities that best suit their scientific research and development programs.
Prior to joining McAllister & Quinn, Kelly worked as a program analyst for the Congressional Directed Medical Research Programs as a contractor for the DOD. She was a core member of the grants management team, program evaluation, training and development, and provided additional support to program managers when needed. Kelly served as a graduate research assistant at the Infectious Disease Society of America for the VP of Public Policy by providing summary documents and researching current policies for communicable and noncommunicable diseases. The documents were used as talking points to compare, contrast, and understand how to apply similar protocols for COVID-19. This internship took place during the pandemic. Also, prior to transitioning to a public health environment, Kelly worked as a Sr. Case Manager for Medicaid/Medicare disabilities using waiver services. She case-managed 100+ clients by providing resources and serving as a liaison for clients, PCP’s and other personnel to ensure the best quality of care was given to clients in Virginia.
