| Jennifer Taylor serves as a Director for the firm’s Higher Education Practice. She brings a wide range of legislative knowledge, appropriations research, and proposal development experience with her. Prior to McAllister & Quinn, Jennifer spent eight years securing federal funding for constituents and clients, first as a congressional staffer and then as a lobbyist. She worked as a Legislative Director for a Member of Congress and then as a Director at Van Scoyoc Associates, a large government affairs firm based in Washington DC. In her previous roles, Jennifer identified opportunities and designed projects for clients that targeted specific federal funding sources in order to maximize their probability of success. During her years on Capitol Hill, Jennifer’s varied responsibilities included constituent correspondence, researching and advising on multiple policy issues, drafting speeches and press releases, and developing the legislative and appropriations agenda of the office. Jennifer earned her bachelor’s degree with honors from the University of Notre Dame. She is a native of upstate New York, previously lived in Georgia, and currently resides in Maryland with her family. |
