Health System Wins $4.9 Million in DoD Funding

McAllister & Quinn helped a health system client win $4.9 million in Department of Defense (DoD) funding to support the advanced development of a novel bone regeneration technology for the rapid repair of extensive bone fractures. The DoD award will help the research team to translate their promising preclinical findings into the next stages of clinical development. Their therapeutic strategy does not rely on bone grafts for nonunion fractures and utilizes an efficient two-step process stimulate a patient’s own cells to form new bone. The McAllister & Quinn team supported the researchers with initial funding strategy, grant guidance, and review and final editing of the proposal.
