As Human Resources Administrator and Office Administrator of McAllister & Quinn, Katie is responsible for oversight and management of the human resources responsibilities, as well as the day-to-day office and general operations. She manages employee relations, regulatory compliance, training and development for employees. Katie also coordinates office activities and operations to ensure efficiency and compliance to company policies. She has primary responsibility for designing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and overseeing all HR functions for the firm.

Prior to being named Office Administrator, Katie was Director of Federal Affairs and provided government relations and administrative support to the firm’s healthcare, higher education, nonprofit and association clients.

Before joining McAllister & Quinn, Katie spent five months in Guinea, where she taught English to University students. Prior to that, Katie was Stewardship Coordinator at the World Food Program USA (WFPUSA), a nonprofit dedicated to building support for the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP), the world’s largest humanitarian agency fighting hunger worldwide.

Katie received her B.A. in religious studies with a minor in bioethics from the University of Virginia. Her interests lie in international studies, community development and education advancement in developing areas overseas as well as in the U.S.
