Samantha Constance is a Director of Grants and Federal Affairs in the Higher Education Practice at McAllister & Quinn. In this role, Sam works strategically with clients to identify and submit competitive applications for federal and foundation grant funding for a wide range of projects including student scholarships, faculty-led research, and recruitment and retention initiatives. Sam works collaboratively with clients to manage the entire grant process in alignment with their institutional priorities, from the first stages of the concept design through grant submission.
Sam brings a diverse set of project management and student programming delivery experience to McAllister & Quinn. Prior to joining the firm, Sam worked for The Washington Center for Internships & Academic Seminars in partnership with more than 200 colleges and universities to facilitate student internship opportunities in D.C. Sam also laid the groundwork for a new Alumni Relations Department within The Washington Center. Prior to that, Sam managed The College of William & Mary’s Washington Semester Program experiential learning opportunity. Additionally, Sam spent a year in Lille, France teaching middle school English and coordinating after-school programs focused on oral proficiency.
Sam received a Bachelor of Arts in Global Studies from The College of William & Mary. She is a Chicago native, and currently resides in Washington, D.C.
