Cameron Clemence is a Research Analyst for the Research Universities & Institutions Practice. In this position, he creates strategic funding plans, detailed overviews of specific agencies, and analysis of current and upcoming federal funding opportunities. Cameron also provides regular updates on the appropriations and legislative processes for McAllister & Quinn staff and clients. As a member of the Research Universities & Institutions Practice, Cameron interfaces regularly with McAllister & Quinn’s Healthcare and Advanced Technology practices.
Prior to joining McAllister & Quinn, Cameron worked as a Senior Business Development Associate at OpenWater, Inc. At OpenWater, he led marketing campaigns and provided software consulting to media companies and trade associations. Cameron also conducted biophysics research at Harvard University’s Berg Laboratory and neuroscience research at Newcastle University’s Institute of Neuroscience (IoN) in the United Kingdom. As a result, he is well versed in systems neuroscience, electrophysiology, immunohistochemistry, and gene editing.
Cameron holds a B.A. in neurobiology and a minor in energy & environment from Harvard University.
