Cameron Clemence is a Director of Grants and Federal Affairs in the Research Universities & Institutions Practice (RUIP). In this position, Cameron manages the day-to-day operations of the RUIP and helps develop the practice’s long-term strategy. Cameron’s responsibilities include generating strategic funding analyses, creating faculty development trainings, devising business development plans, and supporting clients in the RUIP, Advanced Technology, and Healthcare practices. Cameron also provides analysis on the appropriations and legislative processes for McAllister & Quinn’s clients.
Prior to joining McAllister & Quinn, Cameron worked as a Senior Business Development Associate at OpenWater, Inc. At OpenWater, he led marketing campaigns and provided software consulting to media companies and trade associations. Cameron also conducted biophysics research at Harvard University’s Berg Laboratory and neuroscience research at Newcastle University’s Institute of Neuroscience (IoN) in the United Kingdom. As a result, he is well versed in systems neuroscience, electrophysiology, immunohistochemistry, and gene editing.
Cameron holds a B.A. in neurobiology and a minor in energy & environment from Harvard University.
