Please save the date for four upcoming webinars. Links to register for the webinars can be found below but reminders will also be sent at least two weeks in advance of each webinar. All webinars will be recorded and distributed to registrants the day after the webinar is held. Please note that the dates below are subject to change pending agency updates, program cancelations, program deadline changes, or new competition releases. Registrants will be notified accordingly.

Presenter: McAllister & Quinn Executive Director, Susan Faulkner and McAllister & Quinn Managing Director, Marianne Jordan
Overview: This webinar on the NSF Faculty Early CAREER Development program will present a broad overview of the intent and programmatic requirements of the competition, as well as feedback from panel reviewers. The presenters will share the most important elements of the program. Because this program is more than a research opportunity, presenters also will share the importance of applicants presenting their future scholarly and teaching goals, including a five-year-plan focused on research and education and integrating the two components. A brief question and answer session will follow with a former NSF Program Officer.

Overview: This presentation will review how the Federal government defines and designates HSI status for institutions of higher education. The webinar will also discuss funding opportunities available for HSIs and how to prepare for writing these types of grants. The webinar will not cover the details of specific HSI competitions. This webinar will be informative for newly designated HSIs and those who are interested in becoming an HSI.

Overview: This presentation will cover the ins and outs of submitting a federal grant proposal on the NSF platform, We will provide an overview of the system and a live demonstration of submission steps. Participants will become familiar with the platform and specific grant submission procedures.
