Client Wins $1 Million HRSA Grant

McAllister & Quinn collaborates with its clients on the prospecting, developing and writing of federal and foundation grant applications.  We have a team of highly skilled professional grant writers that work with each campus to create the most competitive grant proposal for a specific agency.  Overall our success rate beats the industry average of 1/8 and we have achieved a level of 1/4.  An example of one of our client successes was the awarding of a HRSA Work Force Diversity (HRSA WFD) grant for over $1 million dollars.  The client had applied twice before for a HRSA WFD and received scores in the mid to high 80s.  We encouraged the client to attend our HRSA workshop and gather as much feedback about the proposal and competition as possible.  After developing a new concept paper with the PI, we assigned a writer to the project who had extensive experience and success in writing HRSA grants.  Together the University’s PI and the McAllister & Quinn writer developed a winning proposal that scored 99 points in the 2011 HRSA WFD competition and was one of only eleven that got funded from a pool of 160 applications.
