Case Study

Strategic Plan to Diversify Funding Streams

McAllister & Quinn is currently working with a large grant-seeking institution in New England. The client has an existing office of sponsored research and was performing well prior to engaging with McAllister & Quinn; however, through our organizational analysis process, our team has identified numerous research areas prime for engagement based on both existing and new grant programs at multiple federal agencies.

Since our engagement less than one year ago, we have mapped out a three-year strategy that involves our grants team pursuing 15 grants that align with the institution’s key priorities, significantly diversifying the agencies that the organization will engage with. Because we identified more than 60 opportunities as part of the overview process, independently, the institution is considering pursuing another 15 opportunities that were uncovered through the organizational analysis process.
