Kathryn McGirk is a Research Analyst for McAllister & Quinn. Kathryn works with clients in the Healthcare, Higher Education, Research Universities & Institutions, and Nonprofits & Public Agencies practice areas. She helps clients identify viable funding opportunities through federal and foundation prospecting research. Kathryn also monitors and reports on congressional and administration policy. She tracks the appropriations and legislative process on behalf of clients to improve federal grant capture rate and strategically develop an organizational government relations approach. Kathryn is also a Business Development Liaison. In this role, she conducts research to develop initial funding analysis and determine gaps in federal funding.
Prior to joining McAllister & Quinn, Kathryn worked at the American Foreign Service Association where she helped manage the scholarship department. Kathryn also worked in advocacy at the D.C. nonprofit, Torture Abolition and Survivors Support Coalition (TASSC), where she organized Hill days and developed an advocacy agenda.
Kathryn holds a B.A. in politics with a minor in psychology from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC.
